Paul was confused. Elsie isn't in the NICU. She has had an elevated heart rate and breathing and her labs say that her white blood cell count is higher than it should be. Her chest x-ray was hazy, and they weren't overly concerned with that. Elsie is staying in the nursery overnight and being monitored there for 24 hours. They really don't know what is wrong or if anything is wrong for sure. I get to go feed her every few hours. I am missing my kids right now. I hate being away from all 3 of them just mostly hanging out in my hospital room. I was very upset when this first began but I feel a calm inside. We are hoping to be released tomorrow.
