CLARE BEAR IS 2

I love this age! Clare has been so fun the past few months especially.

Crazy Clare at 2:

She says,"I love oo!"

She loves to give kisses and tight hugs and wave and say "ba-I!"

She calls Paul,"Diddy, Diddy!"


She spontaneously started saying the prayer while Addie was saying the prayer a few months back. Now whenever we ask who wants to say the prayer, she says, "IIII DOOO! I weoww!" And then she prays like this,"Hebeny Fodder...Jush Chriesh..Amen." And now sometimes I can get her to repeat other things in the middle.

Clare loves the feel of food in her hair.

Clare loves to get dirty and make a huge mess, I thought she was mostly a tom girl but she got a super cute, ruffly dress for her birthday and was spinning around saying,"Petty, petty!" And I just found half of my make up dumped all over the bathroom and plastered onto her face, so she is very well rounded.

When she says her S's, they sound like sh's and when she says I it sounds like oh. A month ago she wanted to sit down on her own chair at church in the middle of the meeting. It was crowded, and she didn't have her own seat, so one of us took her out after she kept yelling and crying, "I sit, I sit, I sit," as loud as she possibly could yell. You do the translating.




I tell Clare things throughout the day. I talk to her like she understands me and is older than two. Lots of times when I am through speaking, she'll shrug her shoulders with her palms up and with a very serious look, I've been listening to you face, she'll say,"OOh REEAALLY?"

She sings"We weow, we weow, ssshock oo!" (while doing so she bobbles her head and sometimes bows)




She sings and says almost anything she hears on the radio, on tv or from our mouths.

She says sorry and hugs Addie after hitting her.

She gets after the neighbor kids and says,"SSSShut a door!" And then runs to the door and slams it. What?!

When she is really upset, she points at the person or thing that is distressing her and yells,"MEAN!"

She dances like she is some kind of buttrocker at a metallica concert, no matter what kind of music is playing.

Clare makes life fun. I love being her mother!
