UPDATE

I have started several posts since moving but just haven't had the umph to follow through. So here is kind of a dry run through of all that is happening:

So Paul has taken the LSAT, received his results, applied to 17 law schools and has heard back from 7 so far. 3 rejections and 4 acceptance letters. We have been feeling particularly drawn to Florida and are fairly sure that Florida it will be. He is taking the Kaplan LSAT course 3 nights a week, hoping to improve his score. It will be useful when and if he intends to transfer to another school for his 2nd year.

Paul really had a rough time finding work for the first 4 months, but we have some very dear friends that are realtors that have ended up needing lots of help. Honestly, until this came along, we were in trouble. Paul has been so happy doing what he has been doing with them and they have been so appreciative and extremely flexible. It is hard to express just how grateful I am for them and their awesomeness/kindness.

I have been employed by the Anasazi Foundation since the first week that we arrived. They had to do layoffs to continue to exist and I was let go a few weeks ago, but each week since they have asked me to stay an additional week. So tomorrow just might really be my last day. So as my Anasazi time ended, I was offered a job with the US Census. I started training to be a census worker this week and it has been quite the adventure and fun to be around many other adults in my same situation. I really like the people that I have been working with.

I was asked to work with the 8 and 9 year old girls in our ward doing achievement days every other week. I am excited to have a church calling. I have missed the kids in my old ward.

Addie has missed her friends ever so much. Paul and I have been really busy and she can feel it. She has been more emotional and clingy lately. My census job should only last until the end of May, early June, so hopefully life will calm down a ton. Addie wears her tutu's more than regular clothes and dances around the house for hours. Yesterday, she hung out at my friend Wendy's house and was able to play in their hot tub/pool(not crazy hot hot tub) all day. She is loving the weather. So am I.

Clare is up to 7 steps now and is getting more and more confident as a walker. She
stopped sleeping through the night when we moved here. She has been a HANDFUL. She is a blast and loves the crap out of Addie. Addie can get her laughing like no one else.

So life is good. I miss my Idaho buddies and miss my old neighborhood sooo much, but we are moving forward and I can't wait for this next step.

Jen and Paul----I miss you guys and I am glad for every time we got together while you lived in Idaho. I am glad to see the kids on the blog---it makes me miss them even more to see them and I hope Clare will remember us. Thank Heavens for Audrey's wedding---two months and it will be GREAT to see all of you.
Paul, Newt has got SO many plants growing in the green house. It is so much fun to go out there in the snow and watch things grow despite the weather. I have been bad at keeping in touch but I want you to know that I have been glad for every phone call from Jen to keep me up on how you guys are doing. You are such a scraper---you work hard and are willing to adjust to whatever is happening. We look forward to you coming --we wish that you could see how these little plants look as they are just popping out of the ground---it has just been amazing!!!
Jen that was so fun getting to talk to you as you took time between census taking---makes me feel like I am right there with you. I love ya---Addie I LOVE YOU---you dance so pretty!!Love you Clare!!---Grandma
